Who you are
  • Candidates must have experience in successfully delivering projects which include complex structural works, high tech services installations and the highest quality internal finishes.
  • Must have a proven track record in a role which required liaison with designers, clients and other parties to ensure that the project is a complete success.
  • They must also be able to proactively manage site managers, foremen and direct labour, as well as specialist subcontractors, and be able to plan projects in detail to achieve tight end dates in a controlled manner, without ever compromising quality or safety.
  • Degree qualification or trade background considered.
What you’ll do

  • Setting a positive example for our project team, you'll lead from the front and take overall ownership for the success of the project.
  • Client facing throughout the project, you'll collaborate with our clients' design teams to help plan, design and oversee the project works.
  • Pre-construction advice to the clients team to help plan and detail the works.
  • Responsibility for planning the site set-up and logistics throughout the project.
  • Overall responsibility for health and safety on site, ensuring that the company's H&S policies are implemented at site level, ensuring the works are carried out in a safe manner.
  • Liaison and communication with all project stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our projects, minimising disruption to any project stakeholders over the course of the project.
  • Management of project team consisting of all disciplines - QS/Construction Managers/Engineers/Design Managers.
  • Responsibility for programming of project works and collation of short term/sectional programmes for management by construction managers.
  • Proactive management of programme including monthly reporting, initiation of actions to address programme issues and resequencing of works as required.
  • Co-ordination of subcontractors to ensure achievement of programme and quality goals.
  • Overall responsibility for project quality - including commissioning of mock-ups, implementation of dimensional checks, site templating and environmental management on site.
  • Responsibility for snagging and quality sign off procedures on site.
